FEDGOLF Umbrella Organizations
FEDGOLF has two active organizations under its wings, Golf Managers League of the Philippines (GMLP) and Human Resource Administrators (FEDCOHR) that further enhance and support its VISION, MISSION and GOAL.
Golf Managers League of the Philippines (GMLP)
Golf Managers League of the Philippines (GMLP) counts as members the Club Managers or Directors of Golf of the different member golf clubs of the Federation. The thrust of the group is to help each other in many aspects of golf operations. The group meets once a month to discuss and develop programs for the betterment of golf club concerns such as golf operational concerns, course maintenance, procurement of materials and supplies as well as of suppliers, tournament scheduling among member clubs, handicapping and other related matters.
The management and improvement in the conduct of the Federation’s Men’s League, Ladies League, Senior Care Fellowship tournament and all Federation’s sponsored tournaments are among the important concerns of the group. It involves itself in organizing Seminars on Golf Rules especially for rules men resident in each of the Federations member golf clubs.
GMLP is currently headed by its President Mr. Raymund Sangil, Senior Manager and Director of Golf of the Orchard Golf & Country Club. The other officers are Mr. Raymond Bunquin, General Manager of Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, Mr. Carlos Renato Javier, General Manager of Splendido Taal Golf Club Corporation and Mr. Rodel Mangulabnan of The Royal Northwoods Golf Club, Inc.
FedGolf Comptrollers and Human Resource Administrator (FEDCOHR)
FEDCOHR was organized in 2004 by the inspiration of Mr. Conrado L. Benitez II, President of The Orchard Golf & Country Club and FedGolf VP for Development. The primary purpose of forming this association is to benchmark finance and people management practices to improve total golf club services and set standards of reports and terminologies for easier understanding of club operations management. The group regularly meets to organize learning and sharing sessions centering on the areas of formatting financial reports, tax treatment education, labor and collective bargaining agreements (CBA) trends, pay scale benchmarking, recruitment and training requirements, supplier data base sharing and other related matters.
To promote further camaraderie and fellowship among personnel of FedGolf member golf clubs, FEDCOHR organizes annually the Inter-Golf Club Employees Sports Fest covering non-contact sports competitions such as golf, badminton, billiards, bowling, dart, swimming, table tennis and volley ball. These competitions are being awaited eagerly every year by club personnel.
